I make my artwork to portray ideas to people everywhere. I did my artwork in this way so that I could have people hear the messages that I was sending out. I used may different tools including, but not limited to: Yarn, Clay, and paint. I feel like my artwork represents different facets of my personality and general self. Each piece was created to be unique and not to be replicated. Even if I tried to replicate it it would still come out different in the end because each time you move your hand it moves differently. 1. I feel like my most successful project this semester was my tempera batik piece. I feel this way because it came out exactly like I had envisioned it and the atmosphere really comes out into it. The darkness brings out the lighter parts in the piece and turns it into a better whole. 2. A media that I really enjoyed working with this time around was yarn. I enjoyed this medium because it has texture and you can make just about anything with it. I also enjoyed the many different ways you could weave to make different textures and shapes.3. I feel like the freedom I had in what to make worked very well for me. It allowed to to stretch my creative limits and make something unique and special. The freedom also helped me to not have to force something out because I had to.
